This journal grew from following extreme and adventure sports; not competitively, just attentively. Going where conditions pointed. Over time, those trips left traces worth documenting with a little more intention moving forwards, shaping a small creative nook that explores the gaps between sport, travel, and curiosity, shared for those who feel the pull.
Rather than aiming to be a guide or an instruction manual, entries log reflections and markers - moments when timing aligned, or didn’t, and something still stuck. A place for a little escapism, for finding joy in the journey, and for setting the next adventures in motion. They come from me, Sophia (Sports Nut Soph), and began life in camera rolls and notebooks before making their way here, encouraged along by others met along the way.
This journal is shaped by a long-standing creative practice working with ideas and images, now carried more directly into the field by picking up a camera myself and getting stuck in. It’s a curated edit of photographs, film, sketches and writing gathered while moving, pausing, looking. Sport sets the direction; curiosity fills in the rest.
